In an effort to reset my admin password (which I was successful at, by the way :D) I stumbled upon the file that's created when you run the initial Apple setup application (when you first turn your computer on). It's at /var/db/.AppleSetupDone It's just a text file, so I popped it open, and found something really funny...along with your name, address and other personal info, this is how Apple refers to your response to "Receive Apple e-News?":

Code:
<key>AppleSpam</key>
<string>NO</string>

Looks like I opted out of the AppleSpam...:D :D :D

Haha!!! that's actually funny, they are making fun of their own newsletter (which I receive and enjoy by the way). I don't think Steve know about that.
