Is Apple Watch the only watch to use the sport band latch design? I love how the band tucks inside, but I have never seen another watch use this design. I was thinking Apple picked the design up from someone else. Any help would be great. I would like to have a similar band design on an analog watch is why I'm asking.

Not that I know of. Apple pretty much revolutionized watch bands in general with the AW release in 2015, and put a pretty pathetic face on rest of the watch industry for not thinking of these things much sooner. This includes the easy to adjust stainless link bracelet. No more stupid pins to deal with. Selling a 10k dollar watch with a near impossible for the average person to adjust seems like such a joke now.

You can have a look at the Samsung silicon straps of their Active models. Although this strap has a buckle, its end part goes inside as in AW. And the good thing is it uses regular 20mm pin system (w/ quick release though), so it might be good for your analog watch too (if its width is 20mm).

The design is based on Marc Newson Ikepod watches, so if you search for those you might find those or similar
While your statement is true, it's probably more accurate to say that Marc Newson had a huge role in the design of the Apple Watch and that he brought along his design from the Ikepod to Apple.

It's not like Apple stole the design of some other product ... they actually hired the guy who came up with the design in the first place.

Yep, this. Newson clearly had a pretty major role along with Ive in the Apple Watch design. Take a look at one of his watches from the late nineties - spot anything familiar...
