Exactly my point. If it had support for all the European football leagues I might well use it.

How can a first party App be this level of "low effort"?

Why bother? If they make it too good, than the DG-COMP will come down on them and demand their feed be made available for all third party apps to copy.

Oh I forgot I downloaded this app months ago after hearing about it, opened it once, and then never opened it again lol. I imagine I'll just wait till I inevitably hear about every time it gets updated, become mildly interested again, and then ultimately forget about it until the cycle repeats the next time 😆

It does, always has… at least for MLB. Not only does it have live updates, it blows away MLB’s own Lock Screen widget which has delayed updates. Apple’s app has real time updates on the widget.

This app smacks of Eddy Cue, Manchild Sportsball Fanatic, bellowing at some product manager about WHY DON'T WE HAVE A SPORTSBALL SCORES APP?? WE NEED A SPORTSBALL SCORES APP!! So they made one, but he lost interest and wandered off to yell at someone else about getting another Ted Lasso T-shirt because he got ketchup all over his from a hotdog at a sportsball game. Now that poor product manager doesn't know what to do with it.

Eddy Cue is a disaster. Has blown nearly every sports acquisition.

Sigh, Because it's Apple, you'd expect it to be one of the best, most refined and useful sports apps out there.

Just my opinion of course, but it's a very poor effort.

Come on Cupertino, gives us lower league football leagues, give us live activity and notifications also. Ta very much.🙃

Great point. I should have stipulated the NCAA, American College Football. Enormously popular here in the USA.
