Still no Apple Watch integration...

It's amazing how crap Apple is now with its own app development. In the past few years we've had Music Classical which is only an iPhone only and was only recently joined by an iPad app, no app still on Mac. Journal is iPhone only and now we have Sports again iPhone only and no Watch integration and doesn't even work with the Dynamic Island I believe.

There was a time when any new app would be universally available across all platforms as that is best practice and what Apple wants developers to do. Why should they even bother?

Something is seriously up with Apple at the moment. With all the cancelled projects and general sloppiness with software it feels seriously in need of some fresh direction.

Bring College Baseballl to the app! More popular than you think!
🤦‍♂️

If a feature still hasn't been added to the "Apple Sports" app, where can I submit feedback for them to hopefully add it later.

This app should continuously display a countdown of the seconds until Opening Day and provide aural and haptic cues every thirty seconds. It should pre-empt every other app on your iPhone and be impossible to turn off. Only then will this be a successful sports app.

And for me, Sports Alerts for now
Sports Alerts is great for Live Activities for almost any sport. NHL, NFL, NCAA Football and Basketball, MLB, ATP, WTA, NCAA Baseball, Hockey, Softball, a bunch of soccer leagues, CFL Football, Golf Tours, NASCAR & Formula 1, and others.

I'm a big sports fan that uses various apps and i must say Apple's new sports apple is terrible. Horrible design, amatueurish really....and provides no improvement or innovation compared to other apps in this area. Back to the drawing board Apple...

are there any free sports score apps that don’t have ads? That’s the biggest positive for Apple Sports app to me. If they can add features over time it could be a great option.

ESPN, FotMob, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, Fox Sports. CBS sports, Yahoo Sports, theScore, MLS,

The Sports Alerts app is free and I see no ads in the app when I open it. It has in app purchases but I have yet to need to buy one.

Not great for NHL so far. No way to see who scored goals unless you go into the box score. Even with that method you can’t see when they scored. This is shown for soccer games.

This literally made me LOL. Oh, Honey...

To answer your question there is a Feedback app and apple.com/feedback

But to truly answer your question Apple doesn't care what anyone wants. Feedback is just a scarecrow they propped up for us to yell our frustrations at.

This app exists because Eddy Cue was hammered one night and wanted his own sports scores app and drunk dialed one of his managers, who assigned it to an intern.

Kind of surprised that it supports Major League Baseball but it does show spring training scores - not a huge deal for most baseball fans but I still do not understand why they are not available.

Good to know. Waiting for more sports to be added and also for the app to be available everywhere else.

No support for the Dynamic Island? Seems odd unless I’m missing something.
That's what I find so strange about this app. I jumped on it as soon as it came out as I'm yet to find a sports app that supports Live Activities and Dynamic Island that I like.

I'd assumed that this was going to be Apple setting that straight and show off what it could do

Instead we have this hodgepodge that is focused on betting (WTF!) and sends its notifications through Apple TV so they only work if Apple TV knows about that sport. Apple News would make more sense.

I’d argue it’s a massive cause for concern

When the platform vendor itself can no longer show you best in class software development, it puts everything in question for the future.

Apple used to set the standard for developers to work to emulate

Now their first party work is barely passable
