I handed over an iPad tablet to a service center for repair, they changed it to a defective one, its serial number is NK2F2VWR3Y. Mailed back to Apple for a refund. My tablet has been with them for 2 months, the money has not been returned. Some man is in touch with me and just laughs. You are thieves! You stole my device and do not return the money!

Your other posts says the Apple "service center" refused to replace it but now you're mailing it back for a replacement??? Doesn't sound like you're dealing with Apple directly but some 3rd party service place in another country.

All in one country, in Russia. The service center does nothing, so I sent to Apple. And they asked to send it and just keep it for 2 months.

You realize this is not Apple’s fault. If you first sent your iPad to an unauthorized service center and then sent the defective one to Apple, this is not Apple’s fault.

Why would you return the non-original replacement a 3rd party service center gave you (authorized or not)? Returning merchandise in general is always expected to be the original device.

It was original. It has a warranty and the serial number is confirmed.

That is why I mentioned that when you saw that they had not returned your device to you but another defective device, you have to deal with this service provider.

This seems very confusing to me. Before sending the device to Apple, were they aware you were going to do this? Or did you decide on your own to return it to Apple?

I wrote them a complaint with references to the laws. They answered me and told me to wait for the money to arrive, they have not come for 2 months. They have the tablet. What they do with it, they do not say. On their official Apple website, the exact same message from me was simply deleted, they don’t care at all, they only need money from buyers.

Not sure why you posted on this forum as Apple doesn't participate or monitor it and nobody here can help you with your problem.. While your in an unfortunate position, your beef is with the ASP and your efforts should be focused on them.

Apple pulled out of Russia last March due to the war. Support directly with Apple will likely be tentative and unpredictable due to the changing nature of the situation. Any local laws would likely no longer be applicable for Apple, including international payments due to banking sanctions. Best if you had dealt with a local service center one on one for repair.
