A mistake using OpenClaw in that manner shown in the article is quite different like tasking Claude Code write some scripts or build an application. (Well, unless loopy123 was writing code to delete emails, improbable in this case.).

The process of using new tools is how you gain experience and become proficient in them. So maybe it's not smart to "play" but it could be quite intelligent to incorporate new AI tools in a systematic and careful manner.
Perhaps, but most tools don't explicitly disobey your commands immediately and start deleting valuable data when you explicitly command them not to.

I don't know how ai enthusiasts can keep trying to pull the "it's just a new tool" card.

I can order a 16” MBP M5 Max with 128GB RAM with delivery for April 24th so it’s definitely not memory related and more due the incoming M5 Mac Studio and Mac mini refresh.
I went to look (I’m waiting for a Studio with a modest configuration that’s supposed to be here between April 27th - May 5th and still in ‘Processing.’)

I can spec out an “everything” Macbook Pro (all the cores, all the ram, OK, held back on the SSD) and get it by May 12th. And my wallet ~ $5500 lighter. Somewhat tempting as my current MacBook Pro is a 2019 model.

I found going from a 2017 model MacBook Pro to an M3 Pro MacBook Pro to have been a very welcome upgrade. Much happier with the new model with the only thing I miss about the old model was being able to run one 32 bit app, RPNScientific.
