You beat me to it - worse is the silly unbalanced lines around it - remember the days when people would use a photoshop filter to make something look like a glass candy button - like mid 1990s web pages - where a photoshop drop internal drop shadow and highlight was all the rage. Soo we’ve gone back to 2007

Urgh...the way Apple incessantly harass you to update is disgusting UX. I know they love to brag about adoption rates but wearing users down to update just so it goes away is not the way. How about making compelling software that users actually want to update to? There's a novel idea!
