Just picked up a SG 40mm with sport band in Long Island-Walt Whitman mall-10 minute wait. The stainless and SG with GPS and sport loop unavailable.

I was waiting for the same but gave up and got the non-nike one today.
How reliable is istocknow? The app shows no pick up availability at my local store but istocknow shows they have it. I just don’t want to waste the time and gas for nothing.

I set up notifications for the 2 variations of the SS Gold and got an immediate notification at around 830 this morning my local apple store had it. It has never let me down and I wasn’t expected to get it for another 4 weeks!
Inventory showed none at my local store but I went anyway this morning. There were a ton of people in line. But I still got what I wanted! Looking on istock now, American seams to have plenty of availability for SS but the rest of the world has none in any variation.

Apple store and istock both showed no SS watches at my local store. But I was still able to get one today as a walk-in. So it’s still worth checking out your store.
I used iStockNow this morning and jumped on a 40mm SS Gold + Milanese loop for my wife. I had been waiting for the SS to come in from Apple next week, but my wife was hinting that she thought the gold looked better. As soon as I saw an alert I got to the Apple Store about 30 minutes before opening and there was a line outside (9:30am - they open at 10:00am). The employee outside reserved the only one they had for me! Told me to come back @11am. Came back at 10:45am after meandering the mall with the kiddos and they hooked me up.
My wife sure was surprised (we did this when she was at the gym)! We will return the regular SS watch when it comes in. It will be another opportunity to visit the store to get her some other bands.

Pretty funny that I couldn’t find any store in all of Southern California that had any watches in the store app, but plenty in New Orleans so I was getting ready to pull the trigger and have my daughter pick it up and ship it to me, while I was waiting I checked again and all of my local stores lit up with stock. Waiting in line for pick up right now.
Thanks to everyone in this thread, I was able to pick up a 44 SBSS yesterday instead of waiting until mid October for delivery.
