It has also never natively supported the ipad, either. Just runs in the iphone/ipod touch compatibility mode.

They're possibly wanting to roll out a big update for Christmas with Passbook support and iPhone 5 compatibility?

screw that. take every engineer on little projects like the Apple Store app and move them to Maps!!!!
