Apple Store B&M questions

Hi all:

I have a couple of questions regarding the Apple Store (Brick & Mortar)
as opposed to buying online.

1. Do they stock inventory of computers or are they pretty much a showroom where I place an order to be delivered later?

2. Assuming the stores carry stock, will they also BTO as well? Say if I want a memory upgrade or superdrive?

They stock inventory - generally before the other resellers get their hands on it.

You can order BTO from the Apple Store (IIRC). Some stuff like RAM they will add for you if possible

Anyone know when the Regent Street Store will get the new Rev. PB's in? Its roughly related... 🙂
