Apple Store battery replacement for iPhone

Does the Apple Store replace the battery on an iPhone on site or do they send it out for be repaired. This 5s is out of warranty. I know it's like $80.
 
They'll replace it in-store, in about an hour. Suggest you make a genius appointment before you go in.
