Apple Store customer support shout-out

    Just got back from my local Apple Store. I had the melting-macbook-power-cable issue (similar to this), five minutes after entering the packed store, I walked out with a bran new 85W power supply.

    Looks like it has much the same design as the old one, I expect it to fail in the same way in 3-4 years, but pleased with the replacement service, so a shout-out is in order.

    Yeah, its great that their service is so great when it comes to these things. Who really wants to have to shell out $150 for a charger?

    The good side of the grass.
    Especially since Apple is the only manufacturer of their proprietary magsafe. Apple almost has to exchange them or face potential lawsuits should one burn up more than a computer.

    how packed was the store? They get ridiculously amount of people in there nowadays. :eek:

    Yes they do. Every time I go to the one in Bridgewater it is jam packed with people. I think they even expanded the store back further to make more room for everything.
