Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

Not sure why people are surprised, iv'e never seen Apple Store open on time during one of these events.
 
this sucks ... you would have thought after the botched keynote stream they would of had this on point.
 
Just got three 6 Plus 128GB over at Verizon!! all delivering by the 19th and finished it in 5 minutes flat even as a brand new account, easiest pre order I've ever done. However the 16GB isn't delivering until mid october
 
Although Apple never said 12:01 pacific time… That was the carriers. Apple just said Sept 12. It could be 11:59 PM and they'd be keeping their word. But that would suck just a little. :confused:
 
Wonder if T-Mo preorders are somehow linked to Apple's via an API or something to track orders.
 
Still down. Nobody has posted a "This would not have happened under Steve Jobs" yet? I am surprised!
 
iPhone 6 Plus, 64GB, Space Gray preordered from Verizon.

Looking forward to receiving my new precious.
 
At&t store is up for me but for the iPhone 6 Plus, it says it will ship in 14-21 business days. iPhone 6 says ships 9/19.
 
att taking 14-21 days to ship? If I've got a grandfathered unlimited data plan, will an upgrade (non-next) nuke that? I am fairly sure going with a next account will destroy me unlimited, but keeping a "regular" 2 year plan and buying at contract price should be safe, no?
 
12:01AM PST is 8AM GMT but the UK is currently in daylight saving time so that means the store would not go live till 9AM BST (8AM GMT)

Are you US folks sure you're not currently in Daylight Savings?

I stood in line at a mall for 12 hours for my 4. Trying to avoid that experience.
 
Even this #$%ing website is not working correctly. The amount of traffic must be beyond ridiculous.
 
Guys, don't worry. The sapphire faceplates, flush cameras, and 2 GB RAM modules just came in, they are gonna put those in before they bring the store back up.
 
Waiting like this is still better than standing in line... I'm in Phoenix; its still over a hundred degrees here. No fun to stand in lines outdoors. I can handle a few minutes staying up late :)
