How long is the store usually down for?

The only products that the store is "down" for is the iPad Air, MacBook Pro 13, and Accessories? Which indicates it's the only these are the "new" products being revealed today?

Apple must be the only company in the world that is able to close their own online store for several minutes without the fear of losing a crazy amount of money.

Obviously, they lose some amount and sells, but you can bet mostly every visitor will be back looking for what they were searching to buy.

Wish list: new smaller apple pencil, iPad Pro with landscape camera and much better battery life. I barely get 4 hours screen time with my 12.9 Pro. Lighter Magic Keyboard with an off switch (preferably in software), my current keyboard drains the iPad even when not in use.

Yes, they're sure to update all products that have just been updated in the last 6 months while leaving out the ones that haven't been updated in a year or longer.

I really hope new mac minis are announced soon. Since there’s no mention of them in this story I’ll bet they are announced when MacOS Ventura is released.

Well I'll be.... Grumman was right. His faith is restored.
Wonder if we'll get anything else other then new iPads though?

I expect we will have the usual tech You Tubers posting videos later today then with their reviews.
