Hopefully iPhones or new ipods or something else nice.
iPods for sure - but will there be anything else new ???

....it would be great if there was something MBP related, but seems unlikely

Both these things assume that they know.

Once an exact date for Leopard is announced people who buy new machines are allowed to upgrade for just the cost of the disk and shipping. Therefore, Apple usually doesn't announce a date until about two weeks before release.

and a really great back to school promo in the Uk would be handy - I'd cancel my MBP order (which they are so slow at completing) and start again
