Apple Store Down

All I know is I wasted 5 minutes reading this thread.

I can save you this trouble in the future.
Whenever you see a thread that says "Apple Store down", ignore the thread and go to sleep.
When you wake up, go to the Apple site and see if there's anything new.
If not, you can go back to the "Apple Store down" thread at your leisure and browse the posts that say things like "I waited 4 hours for nothing!" or "Is that all? I'm bummed!" or "what a waste of time!".

Sorry, but Apple always releases new stuff on Tuesdays, during the day. It's just maintenance.

Apple did the same thing last year. Aperture 3 was released just hours before MacWorld! So a new product is probably coming. According to rumors, though, it is the white iPhone 4.

They all look the same to me. What do the other pages have that the MBP page doesn't have?

I think one of the differences they are talking about is the bar with the additional pictures on it, the macbook pro is the only one with the smaller pictures that don't fill out the whole bar, and the overall page doesn't look quite as fresh as some of the products that were more recently updated, Sorry, i'm not trying to fuel speculation, i'm just trying to figure out what details are different on the page.

I'm pretty sure the differences in the galleries have been there since the products came out. Not a sign of an imminent release. The site was updated with new aesthetics, and Verizon iPhone stuff in the store. MBPs will have to wait.

it's been a while since I last followed rumors for an anticipated release, but the last few I really paid attention to I remember that one of the major signs was the shipping times getting delayed and the inventory getting low in 3rd party retail stores, and if this is still true people should probably wait for signs like these to really get their hopes up.

That was unfortunate. O well, still in the hunt for leaks, rumors etc.. Only a matter of when, should be soon, within 60 days I bet. Kinda more friendly browser on the page. but who ares about a white iphone, its dumb. Bring on Mac
