dam! what's with these iphone 4s exclusive features lately???

another feature us iP4 users will not get to use.

Usually I assume that Apple omit features from older iPhones only when the hardware is physically incapable of supporting that feature.

But with iOS 6's satnav feature being unavailable on the iPhone 4 (when the existing TomTom app works just fine) - and now this!

I think Apple are being a bit cynical here.

Completely agree. Why does the 4S have exclusivity for this function?! Is it a geotagging thing? Makes no sense...

Honestly, I can't answer why it's 4s only, but on this case I don't see the motivation they'd have for making it 4S unless there was a reason the 4 and below couldn't run it. Because this is a feature that is supposed to make it easier to buy their stuff. So they're going to want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to buy their stuff. Makes no sense to make it harder for some unless they had to.
