Apple Store is down

How pathetic that a major IT company can't update a store without taking it down.

No wonder the enterprise doesn't take them seriously

Please, they can, and do update the rest of the site without needing to shut it down. With the store it's a PR stunt, people take notice when it goes down, it makes headlines on lots of blog and news sites...

The enterprise doesn't take them seriously because IT departments the world over know their jobs depend on Windows being perpetually broken.

Mac-only operations are bad news for IT staff.
