Apple Store is down!

Hey the Apple store is down now - were there rumors of anything being released today?
 
Man, I've been waiting for a 30G 5g iPod refurb to show up for over a week... Anyone know when they usually update the iPod refurb stock?
 
For the record -- 12:58 am and still down. And it says that they are "updating" the store, not performing maintenance.
 
Well, FWIW, I ordered the MacPro I'm using right now on Friday night the 6th
around 9:30PM Pacific time and the last time I saw a "maintenance" page was
after midnight. 9PM is a little early for this. Not saying this anything other than
that, it's just kinda strange.
 
It's 10:00pm Vancouver time and the Canada store is down still. It's probably maintenance, but every country's store at once?:eek:

it's hilarious how everyone gets so excited when they shut down the apple store on the middle of a friday night.

they know this is probably the least visited time on the website, so they do maintenance now.
 
It's probably price drops, Intel has already dropped the prices on their chips. Newegg/Zipflyzoom/Tigerdirect etc.

That's a generic page. The only stores down is US and Canada.
If you go the the Apple Store UK, (still up) scroll down and go
to other stores you will see that they are all still up - and man
that Japan store is just crazy lookin'. :D I wish I could read that
language.


Edit: Wait a minute, I'm supposed to be hittin' the hay........

Back up now and nothing obvious except for some site changes at
the top where it lists the 1-800 number. I don't remeber if the "chat now"
thingy was there before or not.

Yaaawwwnn........alright, now I'm going to bed.
