UK Store is down - That's earlier than they normally take the store down - Wonder if it's the new iMacs? As I presume the store does not need to be down today if they are starting iPhone pre orders on Friday.

Would they usually take the store down on announcement day? I guess, like said, if a different product is also being launched, available today, they would take the store down. Now that I think about it, this probably isn't for the phone, but a different product update also being announced.

Probably not since they need to coordinate with all the retail stores on stock. Besides, I believe iPhone launches have always been on a Friday?
