Apple Store messed up?

Just came out the store. I no longer have a PowerBook but a base line MBP! Woop! Will explain tommorrow

Right i'm back home now with my new MBP

I took it into the store, and they said the guy that looked at my computer shouldn't of touched it.. And Now he effectively broke it... So they got a Manager, who said that i can have any machine under 1600 quid but he recommended it take the Baseline MBP So i did. They asked me if i wanted my data moving across. THey didn't know how, so i showed them Target Disk mode and did it myself

So I left the store up a Brand New 15'' Baseline MBP.

Its awsome.

I might just take my old PowerBook G4 with a busted fan in now too, just for kicks and giggles!

Quad i7 Nah they took the powerbook but i don't mind

Holy cow! Yeah, I guess you don't mind. The Quad i7 MBP is a BEAST. If you're going to stick with Lion, I strongly recommend the $44 8GB memory upgrade from OWC. It's possible to upgrade it to Snow Leopard, though. Read through the MPB forums if you haven't already.

The manager was right, this person obviously should never have touched your PowerBook. But they owned up to it and didn't try to hide from their mistake. They did more than what most people would consider reasonable. And people wonder why Apple customers are so loyal.

RAM will be bumped to 8gb for sure soon maybe even 16gb if i feel spendy No need to but why the hell not!

I can't believe this, I'm going to be taking my PBG4 to the apple store daily till they break it.
