Apple Store Opening Dallas, Texas (March 4) - Who's Going?

Edit: I'm here and went ahead and got in line, because there is a bench right here at my spot and I can sit and hang on the bench. Only getting one dot. Just figured out I am sitting next to peterparker, from earlier in the thread. Cool guy.
 
so if i show up in like 15 minutes one of you guys will let me cut in line and get a good spot?!?!! j/k if you guys got there that early you deserve to be that far ahead. i suppose ill bring my PB so i have something to do while waiting in line. what is the line status now?

Looks like there are about 50 people are here now. An hour and 15 minutes to go!!!
 
made it!!! here with crdean1 and peterparker. (cut just a little in line) but the line isnt too bad yet!

Rock on... I managed to sneak in a picture of part of the store without them knowing (turned my flash off and hid the camera) and I have a couple of pictures of the line. I'll post some when I get home.

45 minutes to go!

I'm In!

The macbook pros are screamers! We exported a 1:35 1080i HD film from iMovie while having a video chat. 5 minutes to export. This stuff rocks!

I'm wearing my shirt from the first Apple store I went to. Apple store #40, Houston Galleria, #140 = Northpark. See you guys at Southlake next month! :)

I am on macbook and the lady that works here just asked me if I like the new powermac. hhehehe
 
ha, couldnt help myself, apple just packages everything so well!



btw . . . now that ive seen the MBP and the intel mac mini, i want one of each! they were surprisingly similar in speed. the 1.66 core duo vs the 1.83 core duo. i opened iMovie and iDVD at the same time to load up the processors. they both took about twice as long as the quad G5 PowerMac!
 
Nice, cool box. I am on my way to meet my wife at Chipotle to let her have the honors of opening my box.

got my shirt. love the new macbook pro's. can't wait for the smaller one to come out. hopefully a 13" widescreen! i am so in!
