where should I pre-order my phone from?

I do live in Canada, so if anyone from Canada can chime in on what they've previously done that would be great...

I will be getting a 3 (yuck), maybe 2 year contract at purchase

edit: on apple.com/ca it doesnt allow me to choose my carrier, just full retail price
