Apple Store pick up & tmobile

I've noticed the Apple Store has started getting 7 plus models in stock. I know when you reserve that carrier financing is a payment option, but does this apply if your carrier is T-Mobile? I've heard that for T-Mobile supposedly this isn't an option. Has any one tried this?
