iPhone 11 Pro Apple Store Pickup Question AT&T

If you are NOT the primary account holder, but ARE an "Authorized User", can you pick up the device without the primary with you?


This is for AT&T, in an Apple Store pick up.

Trying to figure that out as well. On the Apple order status page it says pickup person, which isn't me. But I'm an Authorized user and billing contact on the account. In the info page during ordering it did say Authorized users were okay to pick up but no indication here.

Same, the wording is not very clear though.

Order status email just came through with more clarity. i think it will be fine!

"Other people may be authorized to pick up this iPhone. Please contact your carrier for details."

Basically if you’re an authorized user you can pick it up!!

I’ve done it every year. Our account is in my wife’s name but I am authorized through the carrier. Never had a problem.

My pickup order status is still “Order Placed” When will it start to change to “Processing”? Will they cancel my order during this period?

I’m nervous about this too. I’m an authorized user and hope it shows correctly when I go to pick it up.

From past experience, it won’t change to processing until sometime the day before your pickup date.
