UPDATE:
UPS: "We have a contractual agreement with some shippers, which limits the amount of packages that can be handed over to UPS on any given day, when this amount is exceeded, as in this case, the packages may experience delays. We need first to complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped. My best advise is to keep on tracking the package on ups.com for further updates."

Does anyone know what this means? Not sure what happened. My first delivery dat was the 2nd and then today it changed to the 6th and then tonight to the 7th and now this pops up.

Note that there is no delivery date now. It went from Oct 2 to Oct 6 and now is in limbo. It just keeps getting worse. I've tracked quite a few shipments over the years and this is by far the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.

Just checking in: has your phone departed Anchorage yet? If we're on the same plane I think we are, our phones are just about to land at Louisville! (UPS Flight 81)

Also: if yours does say it departed Anchorage, are you also seeing the Scheduled Delivery info going back to being in limbo?

I'm actually a little excited, because the ground time (import scan) at Louisville seems to be 1 day -- which means that we could potentially have our phones on Friday instead of Monday...

You have the exact same tracking info as me, and I just checked: the flight landed, it shows the arrival scan in Louisville, and the arrival date is now updated to Friday!!!

As for how I know the flight info: I looked up all UPS flights between Anchorage and Louisville, then looked at the package's Departure Scan time in Anchorage (which is 1 hour ahead of my time here on the west coast), and looked for the flight that left closest to that time. There was an earlier flight that I originally thought our phones were on, but it landed hours ago and there was no update to tracking; since there was only one more flight in to Louisville from Anchorage tonight, I assumed it was that one (and I was right, since we now have arrival scans and updated delivery dates).

Earlier today I had a 10/6 delivery date. I just received an email from UPS that it would arrive today. Then, I go check my tracking and it says it is in Korea. Live Chat says the 7th. I dont know what to think. I would really prefer to pre-sign but I don't want the paper sitting out there for days.

I think we're way below on Apple's order list because we ordered the contract free version and the color being gold might also cause the delay....I HATE IT!!! Give us an update if you see a movement with your order

It took almost 3 days for it to show up in Kentucky, from Alaska.
