I got a UPS tracking number by just tracking by reference on the UPS website. Still hasn't shipped, but my order is "Ready for UPS".

I've been stuck on "Preparing for shipment" since Monday.
How do you do that without them giving you a tracking #?
This is weird!!!! I ordered an iphone 6 plus 64gb Gold t-mobile on 9/14 and another iphone 6 plus 128gb Gold t-mobile on 9/15. The 128gb has changed from processing items to preparing for shipment the other day. But the 64gb is still stuck at processing items!!! I think the color and capacity is the one causing the delay besides from the iphone being the contract free t-mobile version...how sad

Ups tracking is now showing up on my ups my choice! Status on Apple order page has not changed however. Ups shows shipping label created 10-4 for delivery from Foxconn!! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Returned my 6 Plus 64gb SG to the Apple store. I didn't even bother opening the shipping box with the UPS sticker, figured the Apple store would just add this iPhone to the store inventory. However, they opened the shipping box, then took the cellophane wrapping off the iPhone box to check all the contents. The employee explained that all returns are opened and are sent back to Apple. Guess that makes sense, never know if some people might replace the real phone with something worthless.
That was happening quite a bit at Best Buy. You buy an iPod and open the box you get rocks. I happened to a co-worker of mine and she had a hard time getting it replace. They did not believe her.
Shipping label was printed on Saturday 10/4. Transferred to UPS in the early hours of 10/6.
The first estimated delivery date was 10/14 and has since changed to 10/10.

Hey - now shipped and on the move. And UPS is more optimistic than Apple, who in my "Shipment Notification" email had first said 10/14:

My 6+ 64GB Gold ATT has the exact same statuses as yours. We probably share a plane/truck/palette.
I ordered mine on the 9/15 also, around 11:00am EST and I'm still stuck. Hopefully they get mine out today. Still though, even if they did, I still wouldn't get it until next week. I really wish I didn't order and just went to a store. I found a few in my area that has the same 64gb SG on AT&T in stock. It gets sporadic, but there have been a few.
