I plan on pre-ordering come 3a EST on my iPhone via the Apple Store. I have gone through most of the checkout process where I selected the carrier, size and color and all that. Paying in full and utilizing the Give Back program to trade in my X. I am now at the Summary screen where obviously the Continue button is fuzzed out. I assume come 3a EST the continue button will light up or will I have to refresh and select everything again from scratch? I also plan on having my laptop and iPad next to me as a back up. Any advice and input welcome. TIA!

I believe that the app will refresh itself. Problem is that around later in the evening, Apple will close down the Apple Store app and apple.com in prep for the pre-order and will re-open right at the pre-order start time. You can always favorite it. On your Apple Store app and when you chose your model, size and color, there is a heart shape icon on top right.
As for those who were pre-approved for iUP, it will literally be right at the front page when you open the app when pre-order starts.

Does the Apple store app allow for alternate shipping address from CC billing address? I'd like to ship to my office as I'll be able to sign for it.
