Hey all, I may possibly throw 1gig of ram in my mini in the coming months, however I'm really not up for doing it myself, and I'd rather have a shop do it, just wondering do apple store (uk in particular) upgrade the ram in mini's? So could I take it in and ask them to pop in some new ram? Thanks :)

It'll be very expensive to get them to fit it for you, you'd probably have to buy the RAM from them too.

Hi,

Did you ask the Applestore (in Manchester/Trafford Centre) about upgrading the RAM in your Mac Mini? We got one with 1GB RAM but I'm wishing I'd stuck 2GB in it when we bought it. Also, a friend foolishly bought one with 512MB and now she's complaining about performance problems (big surprise!).

I've looked at some of the upgrade sites and, while tempting, the thought of conducting open heart surgery on the little fella is not appealing.
