Thought it was too good to be true but managed to reserve a iphone 6 plus at midnight to collect this afternoon from Apple store Glasgow, UK. Got there this afternoon only to be told there was a mix up and they have allowed reservations at several stores but don't actually have the stock. No phone call or email to let me know so traveled in to busy town centre with a 19 month old in tow and got a half hearted apology and that was it. Spoke to manager who said he can't do anything and cannot offer any compensation to cover travel and parking costs. Offered me a iphone 6 but kind of set on getting the plus and have one ordered anyway but not due until mid October. Thankfully I didn't cancel that order yet. Anyone else had same problem today? Also where do you find email to complain? All the contact us links just go to online help or numbers to call for sales or support. Just want to send a good old fashioned email complaint!!
