Three years ago when the four was released I was 8th in line at the apple store, but wound up missing out because they wouldn’t let me in with my scale. I know I’m not the only one who weighs there new phone before buying it(to make sure the Chinese didn’t forget to install any parts). Has this policy changed or am I better off at a Carrier location?

What a racist comment. Yes Iphone is manufactured in China. However how do you know, they don't have other workers from other countries as well as China. Think your the only person in the world who goes into an Apple store with scales to weigh an Iphone.

LMAO! wow just when I thought I had read it all on these forums :D

forget letting you in, I'm surprised they didn't send you to the mental institution to get checked out.

Wait...you DON'T weigh all your stuff before you buy??? How would you know if something isn't included?

I don't even bring a scale to the dark street corner where I get my stuff.

Huh, maybe I should start.

Hey, Pal. Did you ever solve your refrigerator dilemma?

a) bringing a scale is a good idea if you buy cocaine from a stranger
b) bringing a scale into an apple store sounds like you did option a) too much

Seriously, what are the chances of buying an iPhone missing some internal parts? My estimate would be roughly the same as guessing 4 digits right in the next lottery.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the info about missing internals in iPhones being a regular thing?

Other than (potentially) your relatives, who else do you know who does this?

The iPhones are weighed before being shipped out to ensure that there are no missing parts. There are zero reported cases of an iPhone with missing parts ever happening. The OP has absurd delusions.

Untrue. I happen to know a guy who didn't receive an accelerometer in his 4s.
