Just going to point out that the accelerometer in the 4S is on the same chip as the gyroscope. The chip itself weights so little, it won't be detectable without an expensive non-portable scale. Lastly, iOS won't boot without being able to calibrate the accelerometer and/or gyroscope, resulting in an unusable device.
