In past years, you could log into the apple store online after a certain time and it would let you know what was going to be in stock the next day for pickup. Anyone have any indication that this is the case this year?

Not currently. It takes Apple a few days to set that up. You could try on a store by store basis tho.
Yeah...that's kinda how I remember it too.
I guess I will just check in with the store. I waited in line overnight last night and came up empty!
Never mind, it's there... just select any iPhone model and a pick-up checker will appear on the bottom of your screen.
Yeah, the checker is there...guess we will have to wait and see if it updates every night. I think you might be right that it takes a few days for that to kick in.
I even remember there being a message that said to check back after xPM for stock updates.
Ill keep trying.
