For the new base 13" pro (should have put this in thread title, sorry)

There was some mention of 'unusual activity' . Of course this could mean anything

(didn't see another thread one this)

Would be interested to know if anyone has stopped by a store today. Have reason to go tomorrow and wondered if I would be able to see the new models on display. Suppose I could always call, but kinda want full demo models. Maybe they'll put those out tonight if I'm lucky.

I called a store. They were in-the-dark. Said to call back tomorrow.

Apple's secrecy extends to themselves.

Base 13" is in stock at Best Buy and Apple store.

Go for it. Plenty of stock.

I went to the Leawood, KS store. Zero new models on display. Apparently the guy thinks they had two non-touch bar models yesterday but sold them right away. Nothing today.

That is incredible. Surprised. All of the few dozens MBP were in Cupertino for the hands on event after lame keynote. :)

I went to the Apple store at Lakeside Shopping centre in Essex UK this afternoon to pickup my MBP that was in for repair. I asked when they are likely to have the new MBP's in store to see and they said should be next week..

I ordered my 2016 base model MBP for in-store pickup in Denver, CO and the order was filled a few minutes ago. I will be stopping by on the way home from work to pick it up:)

Don't know.
[doublepost=1477682667][/doublepost]Other stores like Target may have these.

note: Any reason to buy from Apple store over Best Buy? I think it's about equal...or not?

Just look into the consumer law if it applies in your country. My MBP is 3.5 yrs old and the logic board, top case, keyboard and battery were just replaced at a cost of almost £1000. Consumer law in the UK covers for 6 years so it was done free :) My current understanding is that i was covered as I purchased it direct from an Apple store. So worth checking if you will keep lower than warranty period.

Apple Store in SF has two inside those glass tubes at the store. Hard to get a good look at them like this. They are both on the Space Grey

Went to an Apple Store in Dunwoody, Georgia and they didn't have anything on display. This Apple Store was done over and is massive and still didn't have it. Kind of disappointing.

My local store defo didn't have them yet, I don't get the staff setup in there anymore, one person literally adds you to queue, you are left to linger around, there are staff in two's or threes often chatting to each other in the process of something with a customer, then people waltz up to them and engage with them regardless of the queue, it doesn't work anymore.
