Something I can't seem to figure out, is if upgrade using one line (ex. 555-555-5555) but I want to use the phone in another line (ex. 555-555-5556) How will I get the micro sim to use in the other phone? I have called 2 apple stores, one says- They can't do it. The other says, they can reflash the micro sim to a new number.

Has anyone else, figured out anything about this?

Well, according to this guide http://guides.macrumors.com/iPhone_Upgrade_Guide it would work this way.

    3. Can I use someone else's upgrade? Yes, this is called an "upgrade swap". AT&T will allow you to upgrade any line to receive a new phone. You can then activate that phone on any phone line you like. Apple is able to do this in store also, but it requires a bit more time since they have to call AT&T first. If you pre-order and recieve the phone by mail, you will need to contact AT&T to let them know that you will be activating the phone on another line.

Yeah, a second micro-sim should not be necessary.
