You can probably stop that for a while. The Joswiak presentation doesn't start until 9:30 EST - so that's about an hour away. They won't update the store till he talks and probably not until he's finished.

You'd be better off writing a little script that would automatically update the page and tell you if something new was available by comparing strings in the page code that's loaded. Shouldn't take you more than an hour to find something online that you could mod to work.....;)

I was doing that every 20 seconds b4 the US store went down, then i realised that i was hammering their site, and decided id rather not risk being banned.
 
Ya'll are nuts, there ain't going to be any updates today.

<just saying that because last time I said they weren't going to announce the G5 at the WWDC last month, they DID :D )

Hoping for the 15"AL PB please please please please

Bizarre, 2 seconds ago they removed the large G5 pic and put this rebate offer up, now its gone and the g5 image is back. Anywho, see you all next time the store goes down ;).

edit: nevermind, its back to the rebate pic, i guess the other image was cached or something.

okay... i had really high expectations for WWDC, but i was just dreaming anyway. and now it looks like i just went and got all excited again. :(

although i guess that there is the possibility of two Apple Store updates in one day.;) :)
 
Before the page was fully loaded I got this...very strange (its back with all the items now).

Very cool stuff - I wonder how much it differs from the new audio tools in FCP.....any one have any thoughts on that? Its only 299, so it might just be what you get in FCP....made as a stand alone app

i don't get it? what has changed in the pic that you posted? the only difference i can spot is where it shows a 12" PowerBook in your pic there's a 17" on the Apple page now.


anyway, Soundtrack looks good. should be sweet!! :D

how come there arent' any live text updates like WWDC?????
