Apple stores not receiving rMB on Friday?

The person I was quoting was asking when they were going to be shipped, as they thought April 10th was for pre-orders.

sorry my bad. yeah apple will definitely ship some out tomorrow, it's just a matter of how many will they ship
 
call them tomorrow after you order and tell them you want it super expedited and they generally can give you ultra fast shipping at not cost.
 
yeah, they will note your account and will generally upgrade your shipping method for free.

I'd be ordering a BTO model, and was debating if I should pay for expedited shipping or not. In the past I have always gone with the free shipping, but expedited has shown an estimated delivery date of 1-2 days earlier. I guess I'll wait to see what the actual delivery dates are when I go to order.

Yeah, BTO is different. You have the built-in delay for the build of the computer. Previous poster may be correct that you could probably call and get expedited shipping.

Good option is order standard, and then call apple and bring it up, they will usually expedite it if they can. Worth a shot.
