I mean I saw it in person and looked off to me, maybe the settings were screwed around with or my eyes were a little dry. I'm sure the difference is minimal IRL.

To me the Nano coating looks like the display is coated evenly in those smear marks you occasionally get when cleaning a display with fluid. I don't think it actually was cleaning fluid because it looked like every inch of the display was like that.

There is absolutely a difference in person and it doesn't look like it does in the photos above imo.
Everyone has their preferences, I prefer the non-nano coating as it appears sharper, but yes, it will be more reflective and there is something nice about it that is hard to describe.

Was yours a nano or standard? I thought I saw some nano/tilt+height available in apple stores at some point a few weeks ago.

I got a 1 month used one off FB for $1500 with the inclusion of AppleCare.
Going to cancel my apple order though in curious if it would be delayed or not.

no status changes since the order was placed. My Mac Studio, placed on the same order, arrived 10 days ahead of schedule (4/16)

Yeah, I felt that way too. To the point where I thought it must be my eyes or something, but I am starting to see that others felt the same.
It seems the Displays are more of an issue of being shipped that the Studio Max. Originally my computer was 1-1.5 months behind the Display. Now the computer has shipped early and display is nowhere to be found (expected receive window of 6 - 13 May).

Every time I check my order this is the line that cracks me up:

I'm sure China is in the picture even if they don't say it up front. My guess is the parts are made in China and are "assembled" in the States.
This morning it has changed to June 13-20th

I ordered a day later than you did, my delivery window is a week later:

No delays yet. Have yet to see the pending charge appear on my card.
The Mac Studio I ordered at the same time arrived yesterday, so I’m setting it up using a 7” hdmi screen 🤣
