It's very clearly his opinion, not fact - don't be so pedantic. And I agree with him; everyone who really wanted an Apple Watch will have already bought one.

I tend to agree. Anyone who really wanted one would pre-order. After that, sales would be to those sitting on the fence, those who saw somebody else wearing it and decided they wanted one, etc. There may be a few who wanted one but were patient enough to wait until the watch was readily available in stores. But I don't expect that number to be so high.

That's a ridiculous thing to say. And it IS his opinion but he's acting like it's factual. You both are simply wrong. I have several friends and family members who are still wanting a watch but are waiting for the holiday season or when the price drops or when the new one comes out. You both are out of touch with reality.

Waiting for holiday season or waiting to save money -- those come under the limited number of people patient enough to wait I mentioned earlier. As for those waiting for the price to drop or getting the next gen, they want A watch, but not THIS watch. Anyone who REALLY wanted THIS watch most likely already has one.

Not really. I know several people vacillating including myself again. I'm thinking it's going to go nicely with my new 6s.

Maybe we should have said "anyone who was SURE they wanted a watch have already bought one." :p

But you do bring up a good point about people waiting to upgrade their phones before buying a watch. Perhaps there are a number of people still on iPhone 4S or earlier looking to upgrade to a 5 or later in the fall, and buy a watch at the same time.

Most likely being the key word. The jagaloon above talking like he knows wtf he's saying is out of his mind and doesn't understand how the world works.

You do realize that not meeting this company's breakeaven is 24M phones a year.... And that's before the holiday season. Care to revise your opinion about that bad Apple decision. There is so much inanity these days its not even funny.
? I was talking about the watch! I still think Apples makes some terrible decisions at times yes, like really out of touch decisions, but other times it’s sheer genius!

So, a supplier not breaking even at a 24M a year watch sale rhythm NOW (not even during the holidays) is a "bad" decision? Huh! Cause that's what this BS article is about. Yes, I was talking about the watch. Keep up.

Who else has launched a new product and made that much profits in the first year: NO ONE. Not even them (closest is the Ipad).
