It's very clearly his opinion, not fact - don't be so pedantic. And I agree with him; everyone who really wanted an Apple Watch will have already bought one.
I tend to agree. Anyone who really wanted one would pre-order. After that, sales would be to those sitting on the fence, those who saw somebody else wearing it and decided they wanted one, etc. There may be a few who wanted one but were patient enough to wait until the watch was readily available in stores. But I don't expect that number to be so high.
