Apple would sell more if it would include Foam tips instead of the silicone tips which don't fit well. Too many people have posted on various online boards that the fit is Not so good and there's no true replacement tips available.
Apple appeared to have rushed the Airpod Pro out before having them more/better Beta tested for any (more) issues as posted by many commenters on various online boards.

I just wish the sound quality and noise cancelling was better. Compared to my wired QC20's they are quite a long way off the mark and at that price point there simply is no excuse for it.

This is sort of what I was looking for. Compared to wired headphones of the same price, I feel like sound quality is nowhere near equal. For 60 or 90 million people, I guess convenience outweighs absolute performance—but, despite (unnecessary) dongles, and a thin cable, I have headphones I’d still rather use. I’m sure technology will march on though.

Maybe they don't fit you well. They fit just fine on me.

Love my pros. The noise cancelling alone is worth the extra $50. The fit is more secure for workouts too which I love.

the more passivenoise cancelling from the silicone tips helps with secure fit, but the ANC and quick switching to Ambient sound for waking or just out and about is what I truly needed. The iPX rating for sweat resistance and how light they are won me over the WF-1000XM3’s for use in the gym. I keep wanting to go back the XM3’s due to music & ANC quality but without sweat resistance and slightly yet perceivable weight difference (including case size) keeps me with the AirPod Pro’s.

the voice quality in a gym with loud music completely destroys my ability to take notes in my workout app on my S4 Nike+ is annoying me though.

The only issue I’m having with my AirPods is often the first time I put them in my ears it won’t allow me to activate ANC and says place both AirPods in your ear, even though I already have both in. I have to take them out and put them back in the case and then put them in my ears again before I can activate ANC. That’s my only issue. Otherwise I like them as I did the first and second gen AirPods I had before.

this a known issue either he firmware. I had this on my first pair before Xmas. Take them in, have them replaced. I’ll bet after 25 seconds the ANC works.

Loom towards the WF-1000XM3’s for better ANC and voice call quality against the AirPod Pro’s. At least until v2 debuts next year.

They need to sort out the issues with the AirPods Pro first, I have had to send mine back, get a replacement, get a hold put on my debit card and now sit and wait for them to release that hold.
I took my back the shop. They replaced the ear pods not the charger. They said they’d never heard of any issues. I was having the interference when listen to music, intermittent.

60 million a year already sounds like a crazy-high number. Any headphones vendor can only dream of that…

And you know what's great? People will buy a new pair after 2-3 years, so is a lucrative business to be on. You can keep your iPhone for a longer period of time, but after a couple of years battery life starts to be a problem with AirPods, so even if they sill work you end up buying a new pair.

I have none of those problems. Connects and stays connected to Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac and iPhone Even walking around the house, best connectivity yet of any Bluetooth I have used. 1) are your devices up to date? 2) do you have the bad firmware on the AirPods Pro or original 3) are you connecting to downloaded music or streaming (streaming connections can glitch due to interference and interruptions). Any radio interference in area? Doesn’t happen to my AirPods Pro, but used to crap up Samsung and amazon buds

I fixed my issues with both by uninstalling and reinstalling.
