I have had a spam invite in my reminders on icloud for some time now and finally decided to address it. I remember this in the news a couple years ago but I never saw the solution. Googling didn't help so I contacted Apple Support chat about it. Bad decision. Here's what went down:

Support:
"So nothing happens when you hit decline in either the smaller window or the main view?"

Me:
"clicking Decline alerts the spammers and they will just send me more. I am not going to click it."

Support:
"If you wish to see it go away, you have to decline it."

It only got worse from there. Little did I notice the "Report Junk" button on the invite. Googling for that, I confirmed it was an Apple link (not a spam link) and now the spam is gone. The kicker here is that I sent a screenshot with that "Report Junk" link in it and he never saw it either, even though it's his job to notice things like that.

Anyways, I'm just ranting and now I feel better.

Glad you out..

Responding to anything to spam, regardless where its in, email, or icloud spam, is just gonna get you more spam.

Apple not telling customers how its should be done, only how they think *you should do it*, which is doing it *their way*.
