L larkost macrumors 6502a May 3, 2011 #2 Apple uses NTP to set the time on Macs, and host their own NTP time server (you can choose to use your own as well) at time.apple.com. This is not a web server, so you can't use it that way. What are you actually trying to do?

C CloudMac.net macrumors newbie May 4, 2011 #3 Hello, If you're in Europe, you may benefit from using Apple Europe (time.euro.apple.com) as your NTP server. This may be set by default when you installed the system. If not, look under System Preferences > Date & Time.
