I think it will be ok, the new iPhones tho, that’s where they will finally realize how many targets they are missing, I so hope the phone flops for them to wake up and see how quick the competition is moving and giving users what they want.

Or they might surprise us as they did with iOS 13, which should have been released in 2014-2016... but at last we got a decent upgrade.

And thus the “Apple is doomed” cycle renews.

Nah, Apple will be fine they have enough of a buffer to cover any short term losses. The true test is how the new iPhones will be priced come fall.

Apple can’t possibly survive, making only $50+ billion with 37% margins. They’ll be broke before you know it. :)

Welcome AppleTV+. This fall if the prices of iPhone stays the same we will see little change, if the price is lowered the stock will go up and services will cover the percentile difference. If the price goes up, it is not going to sit well with many. Services is the key this time around.

What is this stuff “users want” the competition is giving users and Apple isn’t?

Motorised pop up cameras and not-very-good fingerprint scanners in the display?

12GB of RAM? 5G? Foldable display?

Do users really want this stuff now?

I mean normal people, not people in the MacRumors forum bubble whose wants and desires probably should not be followed by any company.

All I want from my next iPhone is USB-C and more battery life, not that the battery life is bad but no one will have enough battery life until Elon Musk find us a better solution.

And a lower price.

Breathe man... What users want, believe it or not, is more battery life even if it adds 1 mm to the phone, notch-less, more attractive design like that of the iPad Pro, USB-C, headphone jack (not my case but many ask for it), fingerprint reader, better low-light camera.

There were tons of software features users were asking for and we finally got them with iOS13. Took them far too long.

Yes, many of these are based on this Forum, and they are representative of power users.
