Apple today updated its investor relations page to announce that it will share its earnings results for the fourth fiscal quarter (third calendar quarter) of 2019 on Wednesday, October 30.

The earnings results will offer up some insight into how well the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Max did during their first week of availability, though Apple no longer breaks out iPhone unit sales so specific data won't be available.

Apple's guidance for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2019 includes expected revenue of $61 to $64 billion and gross margin between 37.5 and 38.5 percent. If on the higher end of the range, Apple's revenue will beat its Q4 2018 revenue of $62.9 billion.

Guidance for the holiday quarter provided by Apple in its Q4 earnings results will give us the most insight into how the company's newest iPhones are selling.

The quarterly earnings statement will be released at 1:30 PM Pacific/4:30 PM Eastern, with a conference call to discuss the report taking place at 2:00 PM Pacific/5:00 PM Eastern. MacRumors will provide coverage of both the earnings release and conference call on October 30.

Should be interesting to get an idea of how the iPhone has performed. No specific numbers but gives us something to make some solid analysis of! I’m very curious - such a mixed reaction to this years Pro!

iPhone revenue is a pretty specific number :) But yeah, no units sold number.

Except for some initial camera bump hysteria though, I think the reaction has been more positive than in some other years. Of course, the reaction of MR forum posters, non-buyers and techTubers has about as much relevance this year as any other, i.e. approximately zero.

Well scratch the 30th for an Apple Event. Tuesday the 29th, perhaps?

A hardware event the day before an earnings release? Do we know if there has been a keynote before a quarterly release in the past? If not, then I think that would be your answer.

Yes. Not a big deal. Last year the event was Tuesday, Oct. 30, and the earnings call was Thursday, Nov. 1.

This year the earnings call is Wednesday, Oct. 30, probably because Thursday is Halloween, and Friday is... well... Friday.

Tuesday, Oct. 29 seems like a reasonable guess for an event this year. If there is an October event this year, we will know by mid-month this month, since that’s when the invitations go out.

There won’t be any other Apple event this year. All the rumors we’ve heard so far are a joke.

iPad Pro refresh, iMac refresh, Mac Pro / Pro Display XDR details, Apple tags to find your lost products...
There are a few things to talk about.

No “revolutionary” refreshes of the iPad Pro and iMac are expected. The Mac Pro was unveiled at WWDC. They can announce all that via press release. As to the tags, I don’t think that’s going to happen.

I’d like to see Google, Samsung or anyone for that matter give us numbers on ANYTHING. Apple was the only company who actually gave us details. Everyone else are cowards.

Why does it have to be “revolutionary”? Nobody does that every year, so why does Apple have to?

Also hoping for something on redesigned MBPs with Return of the Scissors. Probably too much to hope for, but a man can dream.

whoa how the heck did I forget about the rumored 16” MBP Lol.

I'm glad that when Apple said they were removing numbers and the stocks took a nose dive that they came back up when everyone saw that it's just that they aren't sharing numbers anymore. They took such a beating when it was announced!

If only Apple could tell you how their stock will do over the next 30 days. That would be so handy for investors!

iphone 11 Pro sales will not be part of earnings nor will AppleTV+ subscriptions that’s next quarter but this willbe healthy and in line. I will be purchasing a few shares and don’t care if I starve for a few days. It’ll be worth it, besides been eating far too much junk lately so back in the gym and leaning out
