BLAH! Thank god I signed up to iTunes Match those ads on Apple TV while listening to iTunes Radio buffer forever that you might as well never use it. I also wonder why this is even important to report about when iTunes Radio needs a lot of improvement sick tired of hearing the same under a genre or artist, I would think by now Apple would consider going hard on Spotify route but I guess they rather wait and see how Amazon Prime handles I guess.

Yuck. The constant Nissan ads are one of the biggest annoyances about iTunes Radio. I would have just given them the $25/year to get rid of them if it also included unlimited skips (like AOL Radio allows on it's paid tier). Without unlimited skips, I couldn't stomach paying Apple. In comes Beats Music which I'm loving thus far.

Yes! The unlimited skipping when you are paying is annoying that it is not part of it I just wish Apple would take notice why iTunes is not doing so well as it should.

Apple is turning into a mere advertising revenue than anything else..

We never had iAds in the past, but a few is ok, depending where they are, and not on EVERYTHING.

It seems, yet another good thing that Apple can take advantage of and according to them, works like a treat.... So, why not use it everywhere possible and annoy the customers ?

I don't mind advising in general, in fact, i'm used to it, but seeing ads all the time, its just like watching OTA TV... :p

This is what i got away from, not to bring it back. With more and more ads i will see,, you bet Apple will bloat this up, to the extent, what options are left ? Samsung, they do will be in the mix too.. so he other other leaves MS...

Anyone got any anti-blocking for iOS ? Being legitimate and all, there is such a thing as too much advertising, Apple says polity "it's not noticeable" have hey looked at the bottom of the screen lately ?

I'm trying to do my work here.. Or even heaps of audio ads...

At this moment, the best music service is Spotify. I'm a subscriber and I love it. I know it's not like Pandora or iTunes radio but you can create a radio based on a playlist or song. I will try Beats again but when I used it before, I didn't like its inflexibility. I like the idea of curated playlists that the people from Beats are talking about. Spotify already has that, though. It's more or less like a curated radio statio that both Pandora and Slacker have, except that in Spotify you are able to see all its songs and play any particular one at any time you want. I've had iTunes Match for few years now but it seems something very outdated now that I have access to over 20 million songs. I will not be renovating iTunes Match when it expires. One thing that I miss from iTunes Match (or using iTunes) is the smart playlists that I relied on the past, but this concept doesn't fit well with Spotify. They need to come up with something similar.
Beats is better at being Spotify than Spotify. LOL!

I love iTunes Radio however if they want to compete with the others (Pandora, Spotify), they need to release a SDK so that it can be integrated in other products.

For instance, Sonos!

and you're paying Apple to not give you ads when you play your own music? Nice.

Where do I start? So wrong in so many ways. I'm paying Apple to store all of my music on their systems, at a higher bit rate than it was originally encoded, so that I can play it on any of my devices, anytime and anywhere. And also to get legitimate licenses on any music in my collection that might have been lacking said licenses.

No ads on iTunes Radio is just a side benefit to this. And, by the way, iTunes Radio is not Apple playing my music. It's a curated music service that plays songs from "stations" that I set up. Over 95% of the music played on any given station that I have is music that I do not have in my 3000+ song library.

Perhaps researching your facts before making "witty" comments might make you appear a little more knowledgable next time...:D

What I want to know is when Apple are going to release iTunes Radio in the UK, it's been almost a year and we still don't have it :( come on Apple don't neglect your UK customers

Wow. Apple is revolutionising the listening experience by making iTunes Radio like ... the local radio station, which I do not listen to because I hate ads. Evens the addition of a Beats-like human-curated play-list is nothing other than having a DJ. Not exactly inspiring.

I won't pay a penny for this 'service'....

Quick Mix

If itunes radio wants to compete with pandora they need to add the quick mix feature. Unless I dont know how to use in itunes radio I havent seen it. This is a must and should have been setup at the beginning. If I have 100 artists and I want to shuffle them I should be able to.
