Let’s see … mmhh … who was at the top of the charts in 1976, is still alive, and still performs?I'm so excited to hear about what outdated musical act will be there!

My guess is only those who have been using the Apple Invites app regularly since day 1 …If I had to guess: Only buyers of the Mac Pro Wheels Kit are invited.
I think it’ll be a replica of the Apple I but running on an M6 chip.I wonder if they might try to attach any product/service announcements to this event. 🤔 I just feel like they have a stack of products just waiting to get out, and they can't all come out at WWDC.
The American version already happened: https://www.macrumors.com/2026/03/13/apple-50th-anniversary-alicia-keys-concert/
What a sad 50th anniversary. Not one product that wows customers. The only reason they have customers is because the competition is even worse. The last phone that was semi decent was the iPhone 8. The last mac that was semi decent was the 2nd gen MBA. The last time the store was a decent place was before the Burberry lady took over. Everyone is scared to upgrade the OS because noone knows what breaks with the update. All their success is due to money printing by central banks and financial engineering.
Who's Turnos? The evil twin of Ternus?Word is Mac Rumors users already disapprove of the job Turnos intends to do as CEO!
Whats the point of these events if only website owners and influencers are invited? I'd love to attend the on in London but I'm not a YouTuber, so..
Why dont they just invite the people who actually buy Apple products, sell exclusive merch on the day. It's not hard to extend an invite to people who live in / near a specific city and who have registered actual purchases of Apple products. Keep restricting this to influencers and everyone else just just going to shrug their shoulders and tune out.
It’s not: https://www.macrumors.com/about/I meant macrumors, is it primarily a British site? Don’t think I ever listened to the podcast stuff they post so not sure if main admins are Brit’s or not, I was JW.
If it was, by the way, then it would be called MacRumours.com. 😉I meant macrumors, is it primarily a British site? Don’t think I ever listened to the podcast stuff they post so not sure if main admins are Brit’s or not, I was JW.
David Pogue’s book is the only 50th thing for fans. The rest of the festivities are strictly for iJustine and MKBHD.Whats the point of these events if only website owners and influencers are invited? I'd love to attend the on in London but I'm not a YouTuber, so..

It’s not just influencers - I know someone who received a chance to attend because they follow the band in question and the band extended a chance to attend to their fans. Entries were then selected at random as I understand (with each successful entry getting a plus one). However, not sure if entires were checked against some other list of criteria (e.g. Apple Music subscribers, etc.) or if it is otherwise just fans/influencers.So much for the 'surprise' in London, while I dont know the specific date / time, I DO know which venue (obvious) and which Band they have lined up (wont say - as it will upset MacRumors) . Again disgusting that this is just for the influencers.
Edit: I now know the date.
No offence but a band (which I revealed Monday) inviting its fans has little to do with celebrating Apple. Im an Apple fan and couldn't give a damn about this band. Apple have handled these 'celebrations' terribly. It’s not just influencers - I know someone who received a chance to attend because they follow the band in question and the band extended a chance to attend to their fans. That’s a fair enough critique and I’m not disagreeing. I’m just commenting on your statement that “Again disgusting that this is just for the influencers”, which was not the case—not whether you personally like the band or think it’s an appropriate celebration for Apple. No offence but a band (which I revealed Monday) inviting its fans has little to do with celebrating Apple.
