IMHO,
Buying stuff from Apple Store / Website is worth the money just after they announce new stuff, otherwise Amazon / Resellers are way cheaper.

In Germany the perk is that if you buy it directly with Apple, they are also the seller and therefore have to fix things for 24 months instead of the usual 12 months. If you did not buy it with Apple directly, they would just send you away to talk to whatever department store you bought it from and those are usually much more picky with handling replacements than apple.

Too bad they do not have any deals on the Apple Studio Display. That thing is way too expensive to buy it without discounts.

In the past, you would get a computer included in that monitor for that price (27 inch iMac).
I was thinking about getting a Studio Display for the office but might just get a 24” iMac instead. That way if I don’t bring my MacBook to work with me, I’d still have a functional Mac at the office.

I was going to say this might be a good year to get an iPhone since the 14 is so lackluster, but the Pro doesn’t get any deal at all. If you don’t want to deal with network operators it seems hard to get an iPhone at any discount at all (and considering contracts those are actually thousands more expensive.)

If you want a 13 Mini for $50 off I guess this will be your lucky day.

Handy as my daughter wants some new AirPods (either Pro or gen 3) - I guess 'up to' might be the important thing here.

About the only positive I can extrapolate from this is if you want to custom configure something that isn't off the shelf @ Amazon or Best Buy. I'm struggling w/ the recent sales on the MBP 14" vs a tricked out M2 MBA. I really only need the MBA, but when the price is a wash stepping up to the MBP 14 it seems like a no-brainer. However, maybe I'm swayed if I can get SOMETHING off the tricked out MBA.

Wait. No gift-card for the iPad Pro?

EDIT: ok, I just checked on my European store, no gift card for the iPad Pro either.

But, wait for it, the gift cards in euros have the same value, 50€ and up to 250€ for macs. I thought prices had increased because of the euro devaluation… so, for the gift cards, I guess we still have a strong currency, right?

Similarly, If you want more than 8GB of ram in a Mini its gotta be a 'custom' build and I never see third party deals on those so this might be the only option for a deal.

I expect the $75 gift card will only apply to the AirPods Max.

Hope the 13 Pro Max is released in the Apple refurbished section soon.
Whenever the 12 Pro models are released, it’s sold out quickly.
No one wants the current 11 models.

Update:
"Refurbished products, end-of-life products, and open box returns sold as-is are not eligible for this offer."

I couldn’t find a better price than Apple’s for a new condition iPhone 13 mini. I’m very pleased with my affordable grandfathered cellular plan, so would never consider a carrier deal.

I bought the mini on Monday and traded in my iPhone X, so per the article I guess I could contact customer service next weekend about getting a gift card since my return window is in January.
