LOL. That $1,000 iPhone X is going to cost $2,000 when socialist Argentina puts all their duties and taxes on it.

Nice for Buenos Aires.

I worked for Apple Aventura for many years... the store's staff unilaterally found Argentineans in most cases to be very difficult, elitist customers that were challenging to serve. Most especially the Argentineans who worked for the store. They wouldn't even give my buddy the time of day because she was Cuban.

In part this is because being able to afford travel to the US and buy Apple products naturally means that individual is in the 1% elite of their country, but these folks were never shy to let people know it. Humility is not what comes to mind from that group, Argentineans themselves know it.

I've had the same experience with the few I've met. They remind of the Russians as well. I just have to laugh.

They are arrogant because they know that all around countries are full of illness, corruption... etc (for example Brasil was voted by an university of U.S. to be the country with most slackers of all around the world.) Chile a country that people sell their mothers for a penny... for example, in the Farklands war... they betrayed Argentina (only to gain free comercial trade) letting the English Army to attack silently from their Country taking the argentine army by surprise...

How much 4 a banana there? I mean, a big one. Too expensive?

As an Argentinian myself, I couldn't agree more with your accurate appreciations.

I, however, can't speak about those you describe in such kind terms: they have their skulls full of poisonous farts instead of brains (which is also the norm for the average Argentinian d1ckhead).

Those people - among others - are the reason I'm ashamed to say I was born and raised in Argentina when traveling abroad. Glad to see people from outside got things right.
