Looking at the Australian store right now seems that reservations are only going to be available when buying on a plan?
"iPhone X with a Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone plan is available at an Apple Store near you. Reserve now"

Well, how is a person in the US who wants to sign up for the Apple Upgrade Program using T-Mobile is supposed to know if a phone is in stock??

Buggy as hell, tried to reserve, after confirming the pick up the site returned to the order page...

Still telling me to come back at 0600, very frustrating!
I woke up at 6.04am (damn alarm didn't go off). Checked the website, nothing doing.
[doublepost=1509787831][/doublepost]Apple have just told me that "There was certain amount of stock made available to all store this morning at 6am to reserve or buy for collection..Each store can only physically hold a certain amount of stock each day, and it is sold on a first come first serve basis. So the demand for this stock was huge and not everyone got to reserve I’m afraid"

Did the reservation thing. Sent the code and got booted to the reservation page again but it says none available. WTF

Even if that were true, the website should have let you get further than the same landing page it's been sat on..
[doublepost=1509798511][/doublepost]So what do we do, keep waking up for 6am every morning I guess

I loaded the page just after 6:00 a.m. local time in Canada's West Coast and some stores in Vancouver had stock. I was on my phone and didn't take a screenshot.

But just to confirm that the reservation system does come online very, very momentarily if and when any in-store stock is available. It just goes insanely fast.

I went to my desk and took a screenshot on my desktop right before Canada's system closed its doors for the day, with stock already depleted.

And here I am refreshing and a store in Montreal on the east coast just popped up as Available…

Maybe we shouldn't use this link but just try going through the normal purchase pages and then "check availability"

https://www.macrumors.com/2017/11/04/iphone-x-availability-at-apple-stores/

I did that this morning and there was briefly availability at Birmingham, which in hindsight I wish now I had just gone for, although I was ideally trying for either London or Cambridge. Although I had seen the article that this discussion references, I hadn't realised there was a special reserve and pickup URL (link).

Incidentally, how do you navigate to the link on Apple's website if you don't have the direct URL from the Macrumors article? My partner and I looked earlier, however, neither of us could find reference to it on Apple's website.

I don't think there is a way other than going through a normal purchase
[doublepost=1509863094][/doublepost]Any joy for anyone this morning in NW London?

I do have mine due to be delivered between 13th - 20th Nov but really don't want to wait that long, as this android temporary phone is driving me mad aha I'm starting to think I should of went for 256gb though

What's the story with you, do you have one on lock down?

I'm in the same boat mate, don't want to wait that long, but it'll be a 256Gb at least.

Haha thankfully I'm using an SE so it's not too bad, although it's tiny! Had a 7 previously which I sold last week.
