Apple Special Event
June 10, 2013
Watch streaming video from the special event online or via Apple TV.

Live Streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Excellent! Yes, I get this page too. (I'm in the UK)

While this is indeed fantastic, and a great use of the Apple TV (Apple Propaganda Channel, heh), I'm not going to buy an Apple TV just for keynotes. I'm much happier with a miniMac attached to my TV. It would be great if Apple was streaming video to computers, too.

Edit: Hmm, maybe I posted too soon? I'll be sure to watch that link three posts above this one.

I had the same thought a year ago, before I bought one but now I think it is fantastic. I use it every day and this will be the first Apple keyone to watch through it.

What is great about Apple TV is AirPlay. Apple TV + a MacBook and you don't need to pay the extra bucks for a Mac Mini under your TV. And let's hope Apple TV gets an App Store! :D

If the colored squares in the WWDC graphic were suppose to be App Icons then the version displayed on the Apple TV is very interesting. The WWDC graphic on the Apple TV icon has the colored squares in the shape of Apple TV app icons. Further confirmation of an Apple TV SDK? If not, they could have just scaled down the square icon version to fit the button area. Seems like the extra detail was added with a purpose... We'll see :)

Awesome I just hope Tim Cook himself isnt presenting for too long, i cant listen to this guys voice.

Id much rather listen to some lovely english lad :D

Wwdc

I download WWDC iPhone app. There is a video section I believe apple will have the video in the app as well so I can watch from work.

Unfortunately, I'm too afraid to upgrade because of what might happen between the Apple TV's HDCP and my TV.
